Vung Tau
There are many Vietnam tourist attractions in Vung Tau. These include beaches and abundance of pagodas and temples, many leaning against the mountains and face the oceans. Vung Tau faces the ocean on three sides. Not surprisingly Vung Tau is windy all year long with a very pleasant average temperature of 28 degrees centigrade which makes it a popular destination for sightseeing in Vietnam.
Long Hai Beach
20 km from Vung Tau is Long Hai with quiet, white sand beaches. Long Hai is not busy as Vung Tau and the beaches are of finer sand compared to those at Vung Tau. There are good but not too luxurious beach resorts which may provide the travelers with quiet holidays on their unspoiled private beaches. Long Hai is a perfect beach spot for getting away from the crowd.
Same as Ho Chi Minh city there are two distinctive seasons: the rainy season, from May to November, and the dry season, from December to April. The annual average temperature is 27ºC. Best time to visit: Dry season is better but shouldn’t be much of a problem in rainy season as heavy downpours don’t last too long and shouldn’t affect travel plans too much.
